OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION CLASS SCHEDULES

DuBois- Coming in the spring...

You must be at least 10 years old. Anyone under 18 must have a parent present.

If you would like to set up a private Discover Scuba for your own group give us a call!

All you need is a towel D&R Divers will furnish the rest.

If you have a private group we can do a Discover Scuba this winter, call and get details. We specialize in youth groups, senior citizens, or any organization that would like to have some fun.

Bring a $75.00 deposit with you to Discover Scuba and pick up your books for the Certification Class/ Classes starting soon!

The PADI Open Water Coarse welcomes you to a new world. This world is a quite peaceful world. A world you have to see! At first, it's a strange world where the mask feels a little awkward and the gear feels heavy. After only a few underwater experiences you start to feel part of the underwater world. Scuba diving is one of those rare activities that delivers adrenaline and intensity or serenity and peace. If you seek adventure, you are taking the right course. We are taking deposits now, if you are interested in a class please call and confirm location, we are presently working on schedule for above areas. Class size is limited to 10, so don't delay call today. Some areas may be combined with other locations, depending on sign ups.

This is our standard class. We meet one evening a week for 5 weeks doing classroom review & quiz, then following with a pool session. Then schedule your training dives at your convenience.

After completing your Open Water

Advanced Open Water- This course is available anytime. Jump right into our Advance Class. For more diving fun, experience, and diving some new areas. Stop in and pick up your manual and get started on the reading.

Classes Starting Soon

Equipment Specialty Class This is a great class to get you more familiar with your gear and how to keep it great shape. You will have hands on experience working with equipment checking for wear and preventative maintenance checks. Preventing problems that may occur due to regular wear. Please if interested call 814-265-1227 or stop in the shop.

Emergency First Response (EFR) anyone planning to take Rescue Class must have EFR. The class consists of 3 parts: First Aid, CPR, & AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Class is approximately 6 hours and there is a video to view ahead of class. Class be held by Ray Imhof, at D&R Divers, pre-registration appreciated but not necessary... For more information stop in or email Ray @ raydeb@windstream.net

Divemaster-Orientation This is your start in becoming a dive professional. Interested person should stop in and discuss class schedule...

Rescue Class- The Rescue Classes self-rescue skills along with helping others. This is a great class, everyone should do. Anyone taking class must have current EFR also.

Drift Diver-We will being doing dives at Nigara River. Sign up before trip. 2 dives required

Full Face Mask- If interested pool session must be set up. Please call to schedule. We need to do one pool session with class along with classroom and open water dives. Class set up on individual sign-ups due to we only have 3 full-face mask to use for classes.

Enriched Air Diver-Stop in and pick up manual you have some studying to do. You must have manual read along with reviews done before classroom.

Night Diver- Dives will be Friday & Saturday night and we will have a cook out afterwards. Let me know if you want to join in.

Dry Suit Diver- Extend your dive season. D&R Divers will furnish you a Dry Suit and you can make 3 dives. Don't forget to bring your wetsuit if you want to jump in afterwards to see just how warm you really were in the Dry Suit. Class is going to be scheduled in early spring.
